Its frame, built from a solid Douglas Fir core, is supported by carved hardwood legs and traditional joinery — all assembled by hand. Over that structure lies a meticulously layered upholstery system: hand-tied springs, and a plush mixture of down, feathers, foam, wool, and cotton, finished with hand-sewn closures.
